  • 28 “A” White bands.

  • 10 “B” Assorted bands.

  • 10 Pony Beads.

  • A “C” clip.

It’s a good idea to have the supplies ready before you begin and get ready to continue with this guide.

Step 1: Placing the bands.

To get started, place your loom so that the red arrow is pointing away from you. We will first need to thread the 10 pony beads on the 10 “B” color bands (when you are done set them aside).

Start by placing 13 “A” color bands along the left side of the Loom. Begin at the center pin and place the first band. Place the rest of them forming a single vertical chain along the side. Place a band from the last left pin to the center pin. Repeat the same process for the right side of the Loom. Now, place the Threaded Pony Beads all across the Loom: start at the second left pin and place them horizontally from left to right. Finally, place an “A” color cap band on the last pin.

Step 2: Looping the bands.

Now we are ready to start looping the bands, turn the Loom so that the red arrow is pointing towards you. The first step will be looping the left side of the loom, then, we will loop the right side. Focus on obtaining tear drop shapes from each loop, consult the video for further advice. Do not loop the “B” bands on the Pony beads themselves, concentrate on the “A” bands.

Step 3: Finishing the bracelet.

In order to finish the bracelet,  position the hook on the last pin. Pull up all the bands on that pin and slide the hook through the channel you just created. Rotate the hook slightly to the left and place a “A” color band on the end of it. Pull back the hook and push it up as you place both ends of the bands on the hook in order to secure them: slide them to the thickest part of it. Use your hands and the hook to remove the bands from the Loom. This process will apply for all the bracelet made with the Rainbow Loom.

You will probably need to extend the bracelet so that it fits on your wrist. To do so, place five or six bands on the Loom and place your cap band on the last one. Extend the first band to the side and create an area to place your “C” clip. You can now finish your bracelet by connecting the area created with the band on your hook using the clip. Congratulations, you are done!
